Privacy, in plain English.

What is collected

When you book. Your name, email address and phone number, the service you chose, and the date and time. This is the minimum needed to hold a chair for you and to reach you if something changes.

If you answer the allergy question. Whether you have a sensitivity or allergy, and anything you write in the note — which may include health information. This is optional, and it exists for one reason: so Addison does not put a product on your nails that harms you. It is treated as the most sensitive thing on this site.

If you attach a reference photo. The image itself. Photos are re-processed before they are stored, which strips the hidden data cameras attach to a file — including the GPS coordinates of wherever it was taken.

If you create an account. An email address and a password. The password is handled by our sign-in provider and is never visible to Addison or stored on this site.

Why, and what is never done with it

Your details are used to run your appointment: to confirm it, to remind you about it, to let you move or cancel it, and to keep an accurate record of visits and takings.

Nothing is sold, rented or shared for advertising. There is no analytics script on this site, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker. Nobody is building a profile of you here.

You will not be sent marketing email. The only messages sent are about an appointment you actually made — a confirmation, a change, and up to two reminders.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the site, and only the part each one needs:

• Our hosting and database provider — stores the booking record itself.
• Our email provider — receives your name, email and appointment details in order to send you the message.
• A private notification channel — Addison is alerted to new bookings on her phone. That alert includes your name, contact details and whether an allergy was flagged, so she has it before your visit. The channel is private to her.

Your information is not given to anyone else, except where the law requires it.

Cookies

This site sets cookies only when you sign in to an account, and only the ones that keep you signed in and let you reset a password safely. They are strictly necessary for those features to work.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you are not being asked to consent to any. Browsing the site and booking as a guest sets none at all.

How long it is kept

Appointment records are kept while Addison needs them for her books — they are how a small business shows what it earned.

A reference photo that never became a booking is deleted automatically. Reference photos attached to an appointment are deleted when you ask for your details to be removed.

An alert already delivered to Addison’s phone cannot be recalled, in the same way a text message cannot.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your details

Ask, and it will be done. Message Addison on Instagram and say what you want — a copy of what is held, a correction, or removal.

If you have visited before, the appointment itself stays on the books for her records, but your name, email, phone number and any allergy or health note are erased from it and your reference photos are deleted. If you have never had an appointment, the record is removed outright.

With an account you can already see your own visits and what you have spent at any time — sign in at your account.

How it is protected

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and the database refuses to hand out client records to anyone who is not signed in as Addison — that is enforced by the database itself, not only by the website.

No card details are ever collected. There is no online payment on this site and no card on file; you pay in person at your visit. Nothing of that kind exists to be stolen.

Younger clients

Appointments for anyone under 18 should be booked by a parent or guardian, using the parent or guardian’s contact details. This site is not intended for children to use on their own.

Changes to this notice

If what is collected or how it is used changes, this page changes with it. It was last updated in July 2026.
