Booking & payment
How do I book an appointment?
Online, any time, from the Book page — choose a service, pick a real open time, add any extras, and confirm. It takes under two minutes, and there is no account to create.
Do you take payment online?
No. Booking is for scheduling only — you pay in person at your visit, and the price is settled then. No card is stored and nothing is charged online.
How far ahead can I book, and how much notice do you need?
Online booking opens times up to about a month out and needs at least 48 hours’ notice. Need something sooner, or a time outside Mon–Fri 9–6? Message Addison and she will try to fit you in directly.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Give at least 48 hours’ notice and there is no charge. For now the quickest way is to message Addison — self-service reschedule links are on the way. The full terms are on the Policies page.
At the studio
Where are you located?
Charleston, South Carolina — a private, by-appointment studio. The exact address is shared before your visit, once Addison confirms your appointment.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 9–6. Evenings, weekends, and one-off event sets are handled by request — just ask and Addison will arrange it directly.
What should I expect on my first visit?
A little extra time, and a short health & allergy form to fill in before you arrive. Bring a reference photo, a colour, or just a feeling — Addison will draw it up with you.
Services & nails
Do you do nail art?
Yes — it is her favourite part. Simple accents and dots are a small add-on; elaborate hand-painted, 3D, and charm work costs a little more, with bigger custom pieces quoted in person as her portfolio grows. Current prices are on the full menu.
Fill or new set — how do I know which to book?
The cutoff is roughly three weeks. Within about three weeks a fill keeps your set going; beyond that it is usually a fresh set. Not sure? Book the fill and Addison will advise at your visit.
I have product on my nails from another salon — can you work over it?
Addison works over her own previous work only and won’t file down or soak off another salon’s product. Booking asks whether you currently have product on and adds removal time where it applies — details on the Policies page.
What don't you offer?
No dip powder / SNS, no pedicures, and no paraffin or masks. Addison is focused on hands — natural-nail care, gel, builder gel, and custom extension sets.
Health & aftercare
I have allergies or sensitive skin — is that a problem?
There is a required allergy question at booking — please answer it honestly, even for something minor. If you have ever reacted to a gel, acrylic, or adhesive, a 48-hour patch test is recommended; it will not stop you booking. More on allergies.
How do I take care of my nails afterward?
Cuticle oil daily, avoid long water soaks for about 24 hours, wear gloves for cleaning, and message within about 72 hours if anything lifts. The full routine is on the Policies page.
